  • Pay Tuition
Tuition is paid the first lesson of each month or it can be paid quarterly.
You can pay tuition by check or on my website using Pay pal, Debit or Credit cards. If you pay by cash, please put it in an envelope with the amount written on the outside and your child's name.  I won’t waste valuable lesson time dealing with money. If you pay extra, I can apply it towards a credit for the next month but will not "make change."  If you pay by cash, I will send you a “Text Receipt” that evening acknowledging your payment.

COVID-19 crisis has opened the door for more online lessons.  I've been teaching online for years but this is my first experience teaching all students online every day.  Since schedules are now more open and people are at home, we have taken advantage of the opportunity to allow students of all levels an opportunity to join a small group class.  Current small group classes include:  Way Cool Keyboarding 4 Kids, Way Cool Keyboarding (teens), Way Cool Keyboarding, (adults), Love Songs and Star Wars.  Students are loving having the opportunity to learn in small groups and enjoy some of their favorite love songs and movie themes with friends.  More small groups will be forming.

Fees and Tuition for Beginning Group Piano
I began teaching small group and sibling buddy lessons in 2015 and suddenly my retention rate greatly increased, and my students were making astounding progress and having more fun during lessons.  As part of a world-wide network of teachers trying to change the way piano is taught, I started an amazing journey into ensemble playing and group teaching.   All beginning students are enrolled in an age appropriate small group lesson at a cost of $36.00 per lesson.  Each lesson lasts  45 minute to 60 minutes and tuition is based on the number of lessons that month: 4 or 5. There are no make-up lessons, but the group format allows for a student to miss an occasional lesson and continue to succeed.   A private page for each group is provided on this website (by invitation only).  I provide short videos if your child occasionally needs additional support (sometimes happens if they miss several days of practice right after a lesson) misses an occasional lesson due to illness or family emergency.  Website Video lessons are provided  for Group Lessons, ONLY.   My beginning students enrolled in groups are always my fastest progressing students because they enjoy the social interaction, the lessons are longer, they learn from watching each other and they are more motivated to practice.  Groups may also include a drum lesson when they are scheduled in the evenings.

Regular attendance is mandatory for students to progress   Please do not bring a sick child to piano but please maintain your commitment to the “piano band” when considering enrolling your child in other activities.

New students are enrolled in a private 30 minute lesson for a flat rate fee of $150 per month and fifth weeks are used for make up lessons or the fifth week is free.
Students enrolled in a private 45- minute lessons are charged a flat fee per month: $190.00 and the fifth week is used as a make-up lesson or is free. Most private 45 minute lessons are reserved for advanced students or older beginners. There are a limited number of 45 minute openings.

Another great option:  More advanced students who have a sibling, friend, or music buddy also enrolled in lessons have the option of an extended lesson at the 45-minute rate, provided the lessons are back to back. Lessons overlap, providing an extra 15 minutes per student at no extra cost. This is a great way for families with 2 or more students to get extra lesson time at a HUGE discount. Lessons are 60 minutes and cost is $190 per month per student (the 45 minute lesson rate). Students have the advantage of private one on one instruction, classical music listening lab so they can choose their favorite classical pieces and an ear training and music theory lab. Because my studio is set up with learning centers, they work the entire time they're in the studio and go home more confident and prepared to practice.  Lessons are already discounted since I’m not charging for the 5th week and I’m not charging for the overlap in lesson time. Make-up lessons are not provided.
